I am very appreciative of the people who did comment on my last journal and wished me well. That was nice. I actually only thought Sandra would comment lol. But just to clarify I am not leaving DA. I am just not going to post anything for a very long time. I feel like I need to re-evaluate my feelings and try to tame my poetry into something less reckless if that makes much sense. In case anyone was worried my friends that I was speaking of are ok now. But I think this has taught me a valuable lesson. I might turn my attention to my stories instead of poetry. I write SO much poetry and often times I let my stories fall by the wayside. But after awhile I find that my poems become so redundant. I say the same things over and over again, use the same rhymes, they're all about the same thing. Perhaps I need to get back involved in drawing or YES JUDE, focus more on my film. That would make his cute little heart SO happy lol. And I think I need to go work on my novel too. Poetry is powerful. There's no denying that. Sometimes it can cause a lot of pain and sometimes it can cause joy. I think I just need to take a break from it. Let it sit for awhile. And then when I am ready I will actually put time into writing a poem. People always used to tell me how amazed they were that I could whip out a poem in five minutes. Yes. That is impressive. But the product is messy and not good enough. I want to write something that is worthy of being published. And not just by poetry.com. *rolls eyes*
